Czech Miss 2016 (or Ceská Miss) was held on April 2’ 2015. Andrea Bezdekova was crowned as Ceska Miss 2016 at the conclusion of the grand finale. The pageant finale was aired live on FTV Prima. A total of ten finalists were selected to compete for the coveted title of Ceska Miss 2016. The contestants who were shortlisted to compete were Bezdeková Andrea,Dušková Lucie,Hávová Michaela,Kubícková Kristýna,Kotková Natálie,Koštálová Dominika,Kováríková Nikola,Neumanová Vendula,Rezková Adéla & Zdvorilá Šárka.
The Czech Miss is the national pageant of Czech Republic. The winner of Ceska Miss represents Czech Republic at the Miss Universe 2016 and Miss World 2016 pageants. Until 2009, the pageant only selected representatives for Miss Universe, but in 2010 the franchise of Miss World was also awarded to Michaela Malácová.
The audition of Ceská Miss 2016 was held at The Wellness Hotel Vista, and the judges for the event were Miss Czech Republic Earth 2014 Nikola Buranská , Miss Czech Republic World 2013 Lucie Kovandová alongside Marcela Krplové,Ivy Kubelková,Libor Boucek & David Gránský. These lovely ladies have to go through a series of steps to achieve the crown and title of Miss Czech. Girls from all over the country auditioned for the pageant, and out of the total selected 45 semi finalists, ten finalists were shortlisted. The winner Andrea Bezdekova will pass on her crown on the next finale.
