Miss France, the national beauty pageant was introduced in 1920 with the motto of ‘The most beautiful woman of the France’ by Maurice de Waleffe. Miss France hostes the 87th edition of the pageant in the Centre region of the beautiful city of Orleans of France. The pageant was held on 17 December’ 2016. 

Alicia Aylies Miss Guyane 2016 has been crowned as the winner of Miss France 2017, and will represent France in Miss Universe 2017. The first runner-up was Aurore Kichenin who will represent France in Miss World 2017. Top 5 also included Vaea Ferrand, Morgane Thérésine and Justine Kamara.

The ceremony showcased the beauty and talent of thirty beautiful ladies from different parts of France.

The contestants arrived in Paris from where they flew to the Reunion Island with Iris Mittenaere, dancer Christopher Licata, and Sylvie Tellier. The contestants were prepared for the Miss France 2017 after which they carried on the last leg of their Miss France pageant journeys at Montpellier.
