Miss World Malta 2016 was held on June 18’ 2016. At the end of the gala coronation evening of Miss World Malta 2016 held on June 18’ 2016 at the Piazza Theater in the capital city of Valletta. Anthea Zammit from Zebbug won the title and was crowned the Miss World Malta 2016. Anthea will now represent Malta at the splendid Miss World 2016.
Anthea succeeds Miss World Malta 2015 Katrina Pavia. Katrina represented Malta at the Miss World 2016 pageant.

The thirty contestants spent a month exploring and participating in various activities during their stay in the host country. The delegates were given exposures and experiences through various photoshoots and interviews, besides other activities.
The finale of Miss World Malta 2016 was held on June 18’ 2016 at the Pjazza Teatru Rjal, and was transmitted live on NET TV at 9pm. This year marks the 20th anniversary since Modelle International obtained the licence and the right to send a Maltese representative to participate in Miss World. Therefore, the former winners of Miss World Malta attended the finale as a testimony of the show’s success. All contestants participated in a personality-judging session a few days before the final night.
After the personality judging, the delegates were tapered down to fifteen finalists.The finale witnessed an opening number by the contestants, whichwas followed by an evening gown round, followed by Swimsuit competition. After the two Preliminary Rounds, the fifteen finalists were narrowed down to seven finalists.
