Miss England is an annual national beauty pageant held in England to select representative for the Miss World pageant. The Miss England pageant is owned by Angie Beasley, a winner of 25 beauty contests in the 1980s who has also organised beauty pageants around the country on behalf of Miss World, including Miss United Kingdom, Mr UK, Miss England, Miss Scotland and Miss Wales.

The pageant has managed to attract celebrity judges at local and national finals. There have been many celebrities who have also judged the regional selection for the contest around the country, including top glamour model Jordan, who joined the judging panel for Miss Sussex.

News of the World & "Take a Break" magazine have been official media partners to the Miss England pageant and have previously sponsored contestants over the years, writing features on them and used the winners on the front covers. Various newspapers, including the Daily Mirror, The Times, The Daily Mail and various magazines including Teen Vogue in New York and Hello! have carried stories on local and national winners.

The winner of the Miss England pageant, along with the winners of Miss Northern Ireland, Miss Scotland and Miss Wales, competes in the Miss World. The highest ranking out of these four constituency countries will then be presented with the title and the crown of Miss United Kingdom.

Since the inception of Miss England pageant, no titleholder had gone on to win any international contest. However several Miss England contestants had almost clinched an international crown for England, placing in the 1st runner up position for five times; once in Miss Universe, and twice each in Miss World (as Miss United Kingdom) and Miss Europe.

2017

Miss Hope Valley Stephanie Hill was crowned as Miss England 2017 at the finale held at Resorts World Birmingham, on July 14, 2017. Stephanie succeeds Miss World England 2016, Elizabeth Grant.

2016

Elizabeth Grant was crowned Miss England 2016, and represented England at Miss World 2016 pageant.

2015

Natasha Hemmings from Weston was crowned Miss England 2015, and represented England at Miss World 2015 pageant.

2014

Miss England 2014 was Carina Tyrrell. She was elected Miss Cambridgshire then Miss England in 2014. She represented England at the Miss World 2014 pageant and was one of the Top5 finalists.
