On the way to a grand finale in the pageant season this year is the Miss World 2016. Ambitious contestants from African and Oceanic countries, among others, are vying to be crowned Miss World 2016 by the hands of the reigning queen, Mireia Lalaguna of Spain. The contestants from Africa and Oceania at this year’s Miss World pageant are Andrea Moloto, Antoinette Delali Kemavor, Anunciacion Ongueme, Debbie Collins, Esther Memel, Evelyn Njambi, Nadeen Ossama, Rethabile Tsosane, Safiatou Balde, Samantha Todivelou, Sandra Marisa Araujo Monteiro, Soliyana Assefa, Thata Kenosi, Veronique Allas, Madeline Cowe, Natalia Short, Pooja Priyanka, Phoebe Denight Palisoc, Akuany Ayuen Jongkuch, Aminata Adialin Bangura, Christine Barbier, Diana Edward Lukumai, Jolly Mutesi, Leah Kagasa, Meriem Hammami, Ntandoyenkosi Kunene, and Karla de Beer.
