The Miss Universe Croatia Organisation is all geared up to celebrate its 20th anniversary this year. The organisation has managed to crown some gorgeous and beautiful faces over the years. And this year is big anniversary for Miss Universe Croatia as the organisation will celebrate its 20 years of successful existence.

The reigning Miss Universe Croatia, Barbara Ljiljak will also pass on her crown to her successor, who will then represent the country in the Miss Universe 2016 pageant. Hence, the celebration doubles up, as the newly crowned beauty will be the 20th winner of the country.

Croatia has never won a crown at the Miss Universe pageant, and the highest placement that the country had was in the year 2009 when Sarah Cosic made a placement as the Top 15 finalist. The second highest placement was in the year 2012, when Elizabeta Burg made it to the Top 16 finalist list. Although the Croatian beauties have never won a crown, but all the titleholders were immensely gorgeous and exceptionally talented.  Also, some of the beauty queens are doing great as models, TV hosts, doctors and business women in Croatia.
