Aditi Arya from Delhi has been crowned Femina Miss India 2015 at the conclusion of the grand finale of the national pageant held on March 28’ 2015 in Mumbai, India. Aditi was crowned by her predecessor, Koyal Rana, Miss India 2014, and will now represent India at the Miss World 2015 pageant.
The adorable and angelic beauty was the 1st runner up at Femina Miss India Delhi 2015 and is presently working with an NGO. With her attractive facial features and confidence, Aditi has managed to gather an admirable fan following for herself at the pageant. Her NGO, Protsahan India, where she works as the communications head, aims to uplift the marginalized and 'high at risk' communities by way of education and vocational training.
The splendid night of Femina Miss India 2015 started off with astounding performances by renowned singers and actors and eventually leading to a special performance by the 21 finalists. After the performances, the top 10 semifinalists for Miss India 2015 were announced, who were - Aafreen Vaz, Vartika Singh, Aditi Arya, Deeksha Kaushal, Tanya Hope, Sushrii Shreya Mishra, Naveli Deshmukh, Rushali Rai, Rakhsitha Harimurthy and on popular audience vote Rewati Chetri.
The Top 10 semifinalists were then analyzed under the radar of Question and Answer round, after which The Top 5 finalists were shortlisted. Thewinners out of these 5 finalists – Aafreen Vaz, Aditi Arya, Deeksha Kaushal, Tanya Hope and Vartika Singh – were decided after a common Question and Answer session.
Aafreen Vaz was declared as the first Runner-up and was crowned as Miss International India 2015. Vartika Singh was adjudged as the second runner-up and was crowned as Miss Grand International India 2015.
As the reigning queens passed on their reign to the succeeding newly crowned queens, will the Miss India 2015 winners surpass their forerunners and bring along the pride of winning International titles to their nation? Only time will tell…
