Former Miss World Aishwarya Rai is popular for upping her Cannes red carpet game with every consecutive appearance. The beauty rocked the red carpet at the esteemed Cannes Film Festival again on Saturday clad in an Elie Saab gold lace gown with an embellished bodice. Everyone applauded the beauty queen for her sizzling appearance.

While her first day appearance at Cannes Film Festival was eulogized by all, it was her manifestation at the eminent Cannes Red Carpet on Sunday that made people talking. She graced the gala festival dressed in floral printed Rami Kadi dress. Aishwarya looked breathtakingly hot but it was her bright purple lips that got everyone talking (for all the obvious reasons).

It is safe to say that the Indian beauty queen failed to play with bright lip colour. Completing her look with nude eyes, back combed packed hair, she has failed to impress. A little study suggests that the lipstick is called ‘Deep Fuchsia’, which is named after a flower.

As soon as she walked onto the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival, she made many dazed. In a very little span of time Twitterati started tweeting about her electric purple lips. Some appreciated her look, some did not, some were flabbergasted and a few even trolled her.

Our Verdict –  By making a bold choice of wearing an electric purple lip shade, the beauty seriously made us go OMG (with shock)! Or we can say her BOLD move wasn’t indeed Bold! While Aishwarya Rai Bachchan managed to enthrall everyone with her luscious lipstick trend, we seriously didn’t think that her ‘BOLD move’ can give rise to the new lip trend.
