At the end of the grand coronation of Miss World South Sudan 2015, Ajaa Kiir Monchol was crowned as the winner. She defeated 12 other contestants and emerged as the winner. She will now represent her country at the Miss World 2015 pageant which will take place in Sanya, China later this year. Ajaa was crowned by Ajaa Gabriel Alaak, Miss World South Sudan 2009.
22 years old Ajaa is a graduate in accounting and finance from the Kenya Methodology University. She works for the Government of South Sudan as an Accountant in the Ministry of Environment. She feels proud after wwinning the title, because her name will be taken along with some renowned South Sudanese beauty queens like Atong Demach and Awiyen Kuanyin.
Angelina Santino, who is 23 years old, was titled second runner-up at the finale. She is a second year Petroleum and Gas Engineering student at Mal University in Malaysia.
The second runner-up was Apio Josephine Adelino. She is 20 years old age, and studying in third year Journalism and Mass Communication at Christian University in South Sudan.
Miss World 2015, will be the 65th edition of the Miss World pageant to be held on 19 December 2015 at the Crown of Beauty Theatre in Sanya, China PR. The reigning Miss World, Rolene Strauss, will crown her successor at the end of the event.
