On the splendid finale of Miss World Canada 2015 Anastasia Lin from Toronto was crowned Miss World Canada 2015. She will now represent Canada at the Miss World 2015 to be held later this year. From being a model at very young age to starring in human rights films, she has induced the essence of art and beauty in the very core of her personality to achieve stardom at such young age. She was last seen in an award-winning movie Beyond Destiny (2010), which reaped her both the Mexico International Film Festival’s Golden Palm Award and California’s Indie Fest Award of Merit.

She is a double major in International Relations and Theatre/Acting from the University of Toronto. Her desire is to pursue acting, modeling and eventually film directing in order to express herself as a person having strong beliefs in the right to religious freedom. Anastasia was one of the fortunate youth leader selected to meet Bob Dechert (Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs) in 2011. From New York to Toronto to Ontario, Anastasia has swanned the runway for almost all the prestigious fashion shows including New York Fashion.

On the grand coronation night of Miss World Canada 2015 fifty three (53) beautiful contestants from all over Canada competed for the coveted crown of Miss World Canada 2015 at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. The event revoked the memorable voyage of the contestants followed by a string of musical shows and dance performances by popular artists.
