The much awaited pageant of the Philippines, Binibining Pilipinas 2017, is on its road to the finale, and is scheduled to be held on 30th April 2017. The pageant has kicked off with 40 finalists competing through various events and activities to mark their place in the finale.

The Binibinis will now attend the official Press Presentation of Bb Pilipinas 2017, which is slated to be held on 22nd March 2017. Press Presentation is one of the major pre-pageant activities of the pageant, not just for the contestants but also pageant enthusiasts. For the first time, the pageant hopefuls and media from all publications will be gathered to see the candidates in person. This will be a chance for the Binibinis to give their best presentation, as from this point the favourites will emerge and to certain extent will indicate the chances of the girls in the finals.

The batch this year has great potential and is also a competitive one. It’s difficult to assume one favourite for the title. So the Press Presentation will be an interesting event to look out for. Also, there is still no one strong contender or favourite this year, unlike last year when fans picked Maxine Medina, Kim Ross Williams and Kylie Verzosa as the rightful successor of Pia Wurtzbach.

However, there are still a few who are gaining popularity among pageant aficionado.  The dusky Ada de la Cruz dead ringer Charmain Elima, angelic opera singer Mariel de Leon, Miss World Philippines 2014 4th RU Rachel Peters and the stunning half Filipina model Sirene Sutton, are few who are in lead when it comes to popularity.

So it looks like, this year all the hopefuls have similar chances of making it to one of the crowns. However, whosoever comes out strong during the Press Presentation will instantly be a favourite for the crown.
