Binibining Pilipinas 2015, which is set to be held on 15 March 2015, is already making news with its constant swapping of contestants. Only two weeks ago, Mae Penchon, previous Binibini number 9, gave out a statement, concluding that she will no longer be involved in the Binibining Pilipinas 2015. Therefore, she was replaced by, Maolin Yalung, who was the favourite among many and a few even vouched on her winning.

News about substitution on Binibining Pilipinas 2015 broke out again when, Christine Ramos Balaguer posted on her Facebook page, declaring that she is no longer a part of Binibining Pilipinas 2015. She wrote, “It's my big dream to be the first deaf candidate to win Bb. Pilipinas !Being born deaf is not the end of the world. Its a challenge but also an opportunity. An opportunity to be able to set a positive example for others that despite being deaf they can still achieve their dreams and contribute to society in a meaningful manner. And be successful! Life as a deaf can be hard sometimes but all hardship can be overcome by working hard, never giving up and always believing in yourself. Being deaf is not an excuse for giving up in life or making mistakes in life. I want to inspire other handicapped people and encourage them to take life in their own hands and always move forward no matter what.

Christine Ramos Balaguer, Binibini 9 is now replaced by Caneille Faith Santos, who was a contestant in Miss Earth Philippines in 2013. The organization has not given out any official statement about the replacement yet. But the substitution is evident in the contestant gallery, on the official website of Binibining Pilipinas.
