The finale of Miss Universe Norway 2016 pageant which was held on July 30’ 2016 concluded with the crowning of Christina Waage as the winner. The scintillating finale took place at Open Stage in Oslo and Christina was announced as the winner, after her absolute hard work and months of training.

The beauty queen will now represent Norway at the Miss Universe 2016 pageant which is slated to be held in Philippines, the very own country of the reigning Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.
The show was the perfect example of glamour and panache as a total number of 17 beautiful ladies exhibited their talent on the big stage and gave their best to clinch the coveted crown.
At the end of the show Chirstina was crowned by the Miss Universe Norway 2015, Martine Rodseth Hjorungdal.

At the same pageant Camilla Devik was crowned Miss International Norway 2016, and will now represent Norway at the Miss International 2016 pageant, while Yasmin Osee Aakre was titled as first runner up of Miss Universe Norway 2016.
Christina decided to give the Miss Universe Norway 2016 pageant a shot during early December. She had earlier participated in the Miss Universe Norway 2014 pageant, but couldn’t make it as she didn’t have the right training at that time. This time the beauty made sure to prep herself for the prestigious crown, by grooming herself and working on her weak areas.
