The Miss Grand International 2016 pageant has finally concluded and Indonesian beauty Ariska Putri Pertiwi has been crowned as the winner. The finale was a gala night of glamour and style, and the finalists dazzled through the night. In addition to announcing the winner and the runners-up and the special awardees, the MGI Organisation also made another grand announcement.

The next edition of Miss Grand International (Miss Grand International 2017) is slated to be held on 25th October 2016 in Vietnam. The news was officially announced by the host of the finale held at WestGate Las Vegas Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States of America.

For the first time the pageant will be moving to Vietnam. At the conclusion of the finale of Miss Grand International 2017, Ariska Putri will pass on her crown to her successor. Ariska now takes on the responsibility as the reigning queen, and will be working on campaigns aiming at stop the war and violence.

Miss Grand International is an annual international beauty pageant held in Thailand since 2013 and is organized by Miss Grand International Organization based in Thailand. How excited are you for the 2017 edition?
