Miss USA 1994, Frances Louise Parker (Lu Parker), was arrested for stealing headphones at the Los Angeles International Airport, 2 days ago. Lu was flying to Kentucky in order to see her ill father when she was caught picking up headphones of a fellow passenger in the airport security videos.

According to the sources, one of the passengers informed the authorities about that he lost his headphones after security screening on Terminal 6. On checking the security cameras, Lu Parker was seen picking up the headphones. She was made to de-board the plane and arrested for theft. Later on, she explained that she picked them up with the intention of returning it to the passenger, whom she had had a conversation with while at the airport queue. On not finding the guy, the former Miss USA boarded her plane with the headphones.

Parker was one of the Top 6 finalists at the Miss Universe beauty pageant in the year1994 when Sushmita Sen of India was crowned. She currently works as a News Anchor on KTLA 5 News. She has won four Emmy awards for Journalism. The 44 year old Lu is also an animal activist, honoured with Genesis Awards by the Humane Society United States. She has raised issues such as Elephant Abuse, Puppy Mills, and Beagle Lab Testing.

KTLA says that this is all just a misunderstanding and that Lu is cooperating with the authorities.
