On July 23' 2015, the crowning of new Nuestra Belleza Colima 2015 took place. 20 years old Giovanna Salazar García, who hails from Villa de Álvarez, was crowned Nuestra Belleza Colima 2015 and will now represent her state in the Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2015. She defeated 5 other contestants to mark her victory. She was crowned by her predecessor, Lorena Seville, and Tourism Minister Hector Sandoval Fierros. Giovanna Salazar was crowned wearing an elegant black evening gown, after making a catwalk presentation.
After receiving the crown, the winner said she will do her part in presenting a good performance at the national competition, and work hard for the preparation.
In an interview, young state representative said that she participated in the competition for her personal and professional goals, and she sees this event as a platform to grow in both respects.
She loves to gym and is pursuing communication studies at the University of Colima. One of her objectives is to become a television host.
With a fit body and a lot of confidence she will be a contestant worth remembering at Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2015.
