Ivian Sarcos Might Head Over Miss Mundo Venezuela Franchise

28 Dec 2015 | Angelopedia

If rumors are to be believed, the Miss World franchise of Venezuela will be passed on to Miss World 2011, Ivian Sarcos in the coming edition. Venezuela has yet again faced a consecutive drought at Miss World for the fourth time. Since Ivian Sarcos finished her reign at Miss World in 2012, no Venezuelan delegate has made the cut at Miss World yet!

With Anyela Galante Salerno holding the sash of Venezuela at Miss World, we thought that the mini-drought seems to end this year, but we were mistaken! Highly focused on charitable work, Anyela is a cancer survivor herself who campaigns for the needs of other sufferers, with ambitions of starting her own NGO in the future. The lady was quite confident about her Beauty with a Purpose project and it was highly unbelievable when she even failed to place in the finale despite of such a dedicated altruistic work!

Ivian Sarcos Might Head Over Miss Mundo Venezuela Franchise

The much loved National Director of Venezuela, Osmel Sousa who has been awarding his nation with brilliant placements at Miss Universe, Miss Earth and Miss International seems to be losing interest in Miss World these days. It is quite evident from the fact that Venezuela failed to make a cut even in the quarter finals for the fourth consecutive year.

Despite of having maximum Miss World crowns, Venezuela’s exclusion from Miss World quarter finals is quite surprising. It seems that the nation has stop paying heed to the fastrack events of the pageant and has been selecting girls only on the basis of rampwalk, looks and body frame. The king of pageantry, Osmel Sousa is busy in collecting other crowns forgetting that Miss World also holds a prime place in calculating the grandslam performances of the countries.

If the franchise is passed on to Ivian Sarcos, do you think that the wonderful mentoring by the Miss World herself will secure her nation’s performance at the Miss World pageant in the coming years? Or do you believe her franchise will go downhill like India’s “I am SHE” pageant headed by Sushmita Sen?  Do let us know in the comment section below!
