The magnificent gala ceremony of Miss World Nicaragua 2016 was concluded with the crowning of Masaya’s Maria Laura Ramirez. The event took place on October 25’ 2015 at the Casa Maderas Ecolodge, Nicaragua. The beauty was crowned by last year’s winner, Stefania Aleman.
The-18-years-old, defeated 14 other finalists to clinch the title of Miss World Nicaragua 2016.
Hailing from the city of flowers, Masaya, Laura is studying communication from the University of Centroamericana UCA.

In 2013, she participated in Miss Teen Nicaragua, though, couldn’t make it to the finale. She said Miss Teen Nicaragua contest made her a stronger woman and gave a lot of good experience which she wants to follow lifelong.

Apart from gymming, she likes reading and writing, as she thinks intelligence is something that lasts forever.
The trained model shares an exceptional bond with her mother. Her thinking, tastes, likes, and dislikes, everything matches with her mother. She has one elder and one younger brother. Eversince her participation at the pageant, she wanted to win. Her main idea was to bring a change to her country with her influential work.
