Miss World Philippines pageant finally revealed its finalists for this year, and the batch looks promising. The one contestant who has stood out in the competition ever since the auditions is Catriona Gray, another top model who is trying her luck in the beauty pageant scene this year.

"I don’t know. I was even kind of surprised myself. I didn’t expect it because I kind of look at the whole pageantry thing in a certain light before. And all of a sudden, parang overnight, I saw it in a different perspective and I looked at it as the heart of it is the advocacy. So that’s what made me fall in love with it. So that’s why I’m joining Miss World," said Catriona.

Catriona looks up to Miss World 2013 Megan Young who was also from Aces and Queens like Catriona. Catriona is a famous model in the Philippines. Aside from modelling Catriona also has a blog and likes to sing. "Well, I held a benefit concert, my project is the Paraiso Bright Beginnings Project. I’m in partnership with an organization called Young Focus and they are situated in Tondo Manila and they help provide free accessible education to the kids there. So I’m raising funds so that they can procure another building to make a school because there are so many children that are in need of education and in their circumstance, they may not necessary have access to it. So I'm working to raise funds to allow that to become a reality for these kids," she said.

Since she is a model Catriona has a very photogenic face and the beauty queen never goes wrong with the cameras. The Pinoy beauty is blessed with a heart-warming smile. So that’s two special awards for her already, no? One can be of course the Best Smile and the other Miss Talent (for her singing). And so far it looks like the girl has no airs about her popularity, so she can also go for Miss Congeniality.

She is a complete package with her tall frame, bright wide smile and the fact that she is already a front runner at the Miss World Philippines 2016 pageant.
