With every passing day of the year 2016, the countries are gearing up for the international beauty pageants. The latest country to join in the list of national beauty pageant is Denmark. The Face of Denmark 2016 pageant, also known as Miss Universe Denmark 2016, is on its road to the finale.

There are a total of seventeen finalists who will be competing for the coveted title of Miss Universe Denmark 2016. The finalists have been selected from all over Denmark, and hold the regional title. This year, the pageant in collaboration with Støt Brysterne is making sure that the pageant is seen as more than just a display of beauty. Coming from a diverse background the contestants who are competing are aspiring actresses, politicians, scientists, educators, nurses, entrepreneurs etc.

The core objective of the pageant is to find the Danish representatives to go abroad to Miss Universe, Miss Earth and Miss International. The first Miss Earth, Catharina Svensson Brink, of Denmark along with the reigning Miss Universe Denmark, Cecilie Wellemberg, and current Miss International Denmark, Mette Riis Sørensen, will be hosting the evening and presenting the delegates to the media on March 19th, at The Zoo CPH, a nightlife venue.
