At the time when several countries are working up on establishing new national pageants for every international pageants, joining in the league is Bolivia. The Miss Bolivia organization has now decided to spli their national pageants into two – Miss Bolivia Mundo and Miss Bolivia Universo – to select the country’s representatives to Miss World and Miss Universe pageants.
Till last year, Miss Bolivia, held since 1959 has been selecting the country's representative to the Miss World and Miss Universe, Miss Earth and Miss International pageants. From now on, the pageant will select representatives for Miss Universe, Miss Earth and Miss International and a separate pageant Miss Mundo Bolivia will be sending representatives exclusively for Miss World pageant. The idea behind dividing the two pageants is to meet the requirements of the Miss World Organisation.
Gloria Limpias, the director of Miss Bolivia organization made the official announcement on the same. The reigning Miss World Bolivia is Andrea Forfori Aguilera. Andrea represented Bolivia at the Miss World 2014 pageant and was placed among teh Top 25 semi-finalists.
