The magnificent finale of Miss British Virgin Islands 2016 held on July 31’ 2016 at the Multipurpose Complex concluded with the crowning of Erika Creque as the winner. Erika will now represent British Virgin Islands at the Miss Universe 2016 pageant.

The beauty queen was a clear winner as she swoop various other special awards in addition to the crown - Best Cultural Costume, Best Evening Wear, Most Photogenic, Most Poised, Best BVI Promotion, Best Swimwear, and Best Talent.

At the same event, Reba Thomas finished at the second place and was adjudged first runner-up. She was the most intellectual of all and hence won the Special Award of Miss Intellect. Miny Paul, in the won the Special Award of Miss Congeniality. Lakiesha Claxton won the People’s Choice Award.
British Virgin Island has not won even a single Miss Universe crown as of now. But the country has managed to win the 8th place at the Best National Costume in Miss Universe 2011 under the representation of Abigail Hyndman. In Miss Universe 2012, Sharie De Castro from British Virgin Islands was titled Miss Caribbean World 2013.
