The gala finale of Miss China 2016 concluded with the crowning of Wenqi Zhang as the winner. The finale of Miss China 2016 was held on June 15’ 2016 in Baiyun Mountain. Miss China pageant is not Miss World China or Miss Universe China. 18 years old Wenqi Zhang will now represent China at the Miss Grand International 2016 pageant.

Standing tall at a towering height of 184 cm, Wenqi is a model from Jilin. At the same event, Miss Liaoning, Siru He was titled first runner-up, and will now represent China at the Miss Supranational 2016 pageant. Miss Beijing, Xueyuting Bai (a former Miss International China) was adjudged second runner-up and Miss Shaaxi Zijun Zhang was titled fourth runner-up.
The finale of Miss China was graced by the reigning Miss Grand International Claire Parker. Claire attended the finale as a special guest and enjoyed the event watching the contestants compete for the coveted title. Miss Grand International 2015 Claire Parker co-crowned the winner.
