In the next two weeks, the Miss Earth 2015 contestants will be travelling to Austria to compete and contest for the coveted crown of Miss Earth. The winner of Miss Earth 2015 will succeed Jamie Herrell from Philippines, the reigning queen. In the first ever send-off, hosted by Miss Philippines Earth and Carousel Productions for its delegate to Miss Earth, Angelia Ong gathered with friend from Pageantry, the press, Sponsors and Family at the Remington Hotel.

The event was organized as a good luck wish for Angelia for her pageant endeavour. Ong was spotted smiling throughout the event, and was appreciating all the kind words and well-wishes that came her way. She even gave a well prepared speech that showed her determination to bring a back to back win to Philippines at Miss Earth.
She states that the competition is difficult, but winning is not impossible. She is undaunted by the task, and is going all out in bringing the crown back to the country. Ong even started her Pledge Tree for Maynilad’s Save The IPO Watershed, where guests were asked to leave a green thumb mark on the board, which shows their commitment towards planting more trees.

This year, the contestants are really competitive and are making every extra effort required to level up one notch from the rest. The delegates are in all preparations to make it big at the pageant. Miss Earth Colombia 2015, Estefania Munoz has travelled to the USA. Her first stop was Miami, where she was trained under Miss Earth 2013 Alyz Henrich. Miss Earth Ecuador, Angela Bonilla, is in Georgia, USA for her wardrobe and preparations.
