The finals of Miss Germany 2017 will be held on 18th February 2017, and at the conclusion of the finale, one of the 21 finalists will be crowned as the winner. Lena Bröder Miss Germany 2016 will pass on her crown to one of the finalists.

Lena Bröder, who was crowned Miss Germany 2016 at the end of the finale held on February 20’ 2016 at the Europa Park in Rust, has decided to get back to her career of teaching after relinquishing her title. After Lena won the Miss Germany title, she had to give up her teaching career to continue with her duties as the reigning queen. After getting the permission, Broder suspended teaching for around a year to dedicate her time to her new tasks as Miss Germany.

The 27 year old beauty queen shared that she will come across many curious questions at workplace, but she is prepared for it. When asked if she is scared of facing any sort of bullying cases from the students, she said that “Miss Germany” pageant is not just about beauty and is in fact about power of personality. The beauty believes that she is confident enough to confront such situations. She also added that while competing at the pageant she stood before a panel of jury, but students are a tougher jury to deal with.

Bröderalso said that she wants to resume the work at the same school where she used to work prior getting elected as Miss Germany 2016.

This year an eminent jury has been appointed to select the winner.
