The Miss Gibraltar 2016 pageant is all set to take place on June 4’ 2016 at the John Mackintosh Hall Theatre in Gibraltar, wherein the reigning Miss Gibraltar Hannah Bado will crown her successors at the end of the event.

The Miss Gibraltar organization has revealed the finalists for 2016. This year a total number of 9 delegates will take part to compete for the Miss Gibraltar 2016 title, and they are:

Jeslyn Ferrary

Joseanne Bear

Kayley Mifsud

Maxine Field

Rosanna Fernandes and

Sarah Jayne Adnett

The winner of Miss Gibraltar 2016 will go to represent Gibraltar at the forthcoming Miss World 2016 contest, while the first runner up will go to represent Gibraltar at Miss International 2016 and the second runner up will compete at Miss Supranational 2016.

The last time Gibraltar placed in the Top 6 of  Miss World Pageant was in the year 2013. Kaiane Aldorino who is a Gibraltarian dancer is the first and only Miss World from Gibraltar who won the Miss World title in 2009. Since 2014, she has been the Deputy Mayor of Gibraltar. The beauty queen opted for dancing at the age of 14 with Urban Dance Group. She has performed in Gibraltar and Spain, and is trained in modern, hip hop, contemporary and commercial styles.
