In the ceremony held Monday, Zoey Ivory, 23, was dignified with the title of Miss Nederland 2016. Zoey of Frivoland, Netherlands will represent the country at Miss Universe 2016, coming January.

The dazzling beauty is a Dutch model from Almere. She feels that although modelling shows only lets one present the clothes, this beauty contest gave her an opportunity to bring out her true self in front of the world. She believes that one must come with a happy character.
Leaving behind 11 other candidates, with her beauty, wit and confidence, Zoey is now excited about being participating in the biggest beauty pageants Miss Universe, where Pia Wurtzbach of Philippines (Miss Universe 2015) will crown her successor.
The finals of Miss Nederland 2016 were held at Mediapark in Hilversum. The Miss Nederland 2016 pageant also announced gorgeous Denise Swier as the first runner-up and beautiful Kelly van den Dungen as the second runner-up. The crowning ceremony was a heart-whelming moment for the beauty queens.
