Sanjum Katuwal contestant number 3 of Miss Nepal 2016 is a Nepali model, beauty queen and an entrepreneur. The 20 year old model aspires to dedicate her life to social work in the future.

Admirable beauty, Sajum was born in Chovar, Kirtipur Kathmandu in 1995 and spent her childhood there. Currently, Sajum is completing her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree at Platinum Management College, Kathmandu, and manages her own start-up Mero-Looks, aka Looks Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Mero Looks organizes a beauty pageant called Miss Grand Nepal.

This multi-facet personality is a keen learner and is all set to mark her presence felt at the coronation night. For Sanjum, this title is important as she wants to eradicate the major challenge that today’s girl is facing, i.e., gender inequality and social violence. She wants to take steps for overcoming these drawbacks and to raise awareness about girl child education.

Also, Sajum is the first season winner of Nepal’s College Diva of the year 2015 held in March 2015, a competition organized by Ribbon Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.

Sajum is a keen learner and a trained air-hostess. To travel, to interact with people, to know something new and to learn from them, that’s what Sanjum likes the most. Besides a beautiful face, Sajum even has a sensational voice and loves singing. Her positive attitude and her strength is what that builds her up.  She is sure enough to bring the title of Miss Nepal 2016 to her homeland!
