Miss Nicaragua 2016 is on the road to the finale, and the finalists recently had their official ethnic photoshoot. Just eight days are left for the finale, and the contestants, are geared up tof ind out who will be Nicaragua’s representative for the Miss Universe 2016.

The finale of Miss Nicaragua 2016 is slated to be held on March 5’ 2016, wherein Daniela Torres will be crowning her successor for Miss Universe 2016. During the ethnic photoshoot, the finalists exhibited their beauty and also the rich and cultural heritage of Nicaragua. The photoshoot themed on the ethnicity of Nicaragua was named as “Tejiendo Tradiciones” meaning “Weaving Traditions”.

The costumes donned by the contestants were designed in Nicaragua that underlined the rich heritage and culture of Nicaragua. Apart from the 12 contestants of Miss Universe Nicaragua 2016, the reigning Miss Nicaragua, Daniela Torres was also found gracing the photoshoot in utmost magnificence and splendor.

The photoshoot was carried out by Julio Rosales Photography and the costumes were designed by the Nicaraguan fashion designers, Blanca Jackman, Miguel Irigoyen , MITHA por Adilia Alemán, DULCESAL por DS Dulce Salgado, Byron Mendieta, Carlos René Cruz and Shantall Lacayo – Diseño, Moda and Arte Textil.

According to Miss Nicaragua Organisation, it was the love for their country and the connection towards their rich heritage that motivated them to promote Nicaragua through the beauty of Nicaraguan women.
