Meet the exquisite contestant, Hany Portocarrero, one of the finalists of Miss Peru Universo 2016.
Hany is a beautiful model and actress, who is a student of Business Administration. She is also a host by profession. A Political Science graduate, this 26 years old contender is all set to shine bright at the coronation night of Miss Peru Universe 2016. Hany feels that it is not just beauty that matters for a person, but the overall personality is of utmost importance too!

Also, this is the second time that Hany Portocarrero is participating in the Miss Peru pageant, as she was a contestant last year too, but could not succeed! She could only make it to top 20 out of a total of 80 candidates. This year, Hany is all determined as she believes that she could have given much more in the last pageant. It’s a comeback year for this indomitable finalist!

This year a total of thirty one beautiful contestants will be competing for the honourable title, which is scheduled to be held on April 23' 2016 in Peru. The winner of Miss Peru Universo 2016 will represent Peru at the Miss Universe 2016 pageant. The pageant will be televised live on Panamericana Television.
At Miss Peru Universo 2016, the reigning Miss Perú, Laura Spoya, will crown her successor at the end of the event. Laura Spoya won the Miss Perú 2015 title at the end of the mesmerizing event held on June 2, 2015. She defeated 43 candidates from different districts, cities and regions of Peru to clinch the crown.
