Miss Slovensko 2015 winner is Lujza Strakova

At the grand coronation night of Miss Slovensko 2015 or Miss World Slovakia 2015 pageant held tonight, Lujza Straková from Banská Bystrica has been adjudged the winner and crowned Miss World Slovakia 2015. Barbora Bakošová finished as the first runner-up or first Vice-Miss, whilst the second runner-up or second Vice-Miss was Petra Denková.

Lujza Straková, who is 20 years of age and was the tallest contestant in the competition at 182 cm, succeeds the outgoing queen Laura Longauerová, and will now represent Slovakia at the prestigious Miss World 2015 pageant later this year. She also won the special awards for Miss Sympatia and Miss Gosh.

Barbora Bakošová (19 years/ 171 cm) finished as the first runner up, and was crowned Miss International Slovakia 2015. she will now represent Slovakia at Miss International 2015 pageant. Petra Denková (21 years/ 178 cm) finished as the second runner up and was crowned Miss Supranational Slovakia 2015. She will now compete at Miss Supranational 2015 pageant.

Other sub-title winners at the event were Paulína Pélyová - Miss Príjemný Hlas 2015 (Miss Pleasant Voice), Simona Leskovská - Miss Pierot 2015, Adriana Hodossyová - Miss Press 2015, and Laura Hajdušíková - Miss Cas.SK 2015.

Twenty-two girls competed for the titles at stake at the finals event and the coveted crown of Miss Slovekso 2015. The event which was also the 20th anniversary of the Miss Slovensko pageant was an evening full of entertainment and coronation night saw some brilliant performances by world renowned musicians and singers.

The jury for the finals included the Director of Miss Slovakia - Karolíny Chomistekovej, Editor of the magazine Eva - Katarína Patvarošová, actor Milan Lasica, singer Josef Vojtek, singer & photographer Peter Nagy, CEO of JOJ TV - Marcel Grega, fashion designer Boris Hanecka and Thierry Favre representing the European football federation UEFA.
