The Miss South Africa pageant is a relevant project that I believe contributes to all of this, and I firmly believe that as an ambassador I can enhance and encourage young South African women by making a positive and sustainable impact on their overall well-being. I believe that the positive energy I project will help me to inspire young girls and women in South Africa. I want someone to say “Because of you I didn’t give up”. I want to be a living example to them that through hard work, perseverance and being the best version of me it was possible to live my dream”, says Schane on why she wants to be Miss South Africa.

Schane’s message to young aspiring models is, “My message to them is that in today’s society it is so easy to fall into the trap of needing to be flawless, having the perfect body, hair, skin, best clothes, and I want them to understand that that “flawless life” is not sustainable. Just be REAL, not perfect. That is enough. Be the best version of yourself.”
