Miss Supranational 2016 pageant has kick started and what an excellent start!! With the arrival of the contestants, the sash ceremony for the girls was also conducted. Since then the delegates have been enjoying their stay and are competing through different segments towards the finale.

The 2016 edition of Miss Supranational has improvised itself under various aspects. Let us discuss about them in detail. With the growing popularity of the pageant, the organisation decided to increase the running time of the pageant. So this edition of the pageant will run around for about 3hrs. So we can definitely expect extra hours on the entertainment front.

With the increase in the running time, the organisation has also decided to increase the number of finalists in the first cut. Yes, so for the first time, instead of announcing the Top 20 finalists, the Miss Supranational 2016 pageant has introduced the Top 25 finalists’ pattern. Also, this time the winners and runners-up will be selected from the Top 5 finalists, and not directly from Top 10 or 20.

Looks like the Miss Supranational Organisation is experimenting with numbers, even in the case of host countries, that’s right!! This year the pageant is jointly being hosted by two countries – Poland and Slovak Republic. So the contestants get to enjoy the beauty of both the nations. Wow!! The pageant has introduced the ‘Mobstar’ app under which the fans can vote for their favourite contestants, and the winner will directly move ahead to the Top 10 finalists.
