Ivanna Abad Vasquez has been announced as Miss Supranational Ecuador 2016. She was a contestants at the Miss Ecuador 2016 contest held on March 12’ in Machala and was adjudged as second runner up while Connie Jiménez was crowned Miss Ecuador 2016.
23 years old Ivanna is from the city of Machala (El Oro) and is studying Economics and owns a local bakery.
The beauty queen says – “Since childhood I like beauty contests and this year I have almost culminated my career as an economist, which was one of my motive.”
Before competing at the Miss Ecuador 2016 pageant her thoughts were – “My heart says this year I am ready to compete. I feel I am mature enough to take on this new challenge.”
She further added – “I have all the support of my family, friends and my brother who has accompanied me on this challenge. Become the winner would be a dream come true because that is the dream of every Ecuadorian woman and emerging as a winner would give me the opportunity to help the needy and also to promote my province at the national level.”
Her motivation behind the decision to participate in the competition was Ximena Nagua (an Ecuadorian model).
