Texas is the most triumphant state ever to compete at Miss USA. It has had nine winners, three more than any other state, but only one Miss Universe. Texas may be best known for its five consecutive winners. Before Texas won consecutively from 1985 to 1989, no state had ever won the Miss USA pageant more than two times in sequence. Texas also has the maximum number of semifinalists, which is 45, and has received the most special awards which counts up to 9. If another beauty from Texas wins Miss USA crown, it will certainly not be astounding, for Daniella Rodriguez is one to watch for!
