This year’s Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International contestants in cooperation with Sunway Putra Mall are spreading the joy of giving, this holiday season.

Being a time of merriment and giving, the contestants gave back to the community through participating in Putra mall's ‘A Gift for a Wish - Yayasan Chow Kit (YCK)’ campaign. YCK is an organisation that works hard to provide a brighter future to at-risk children and youth. 35 underprivileged kids, ranging from 7 to 12 years, were chosen for this campaign by YCK based on their backgrounds, and Sunway Putra Mall’s management paid them a visit to discover the item that would brighten up their day.

A resounding majority said that they wanted bicycles, toys and school supplies as some of them have been using the same items for several years. After the event, the contestants bonded with the children inside the movie theater and watched Snoopy And Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie.

The crowning gala night of the Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2015/2016 is all set to happen tonight!! Let’s see for which contestant this New Year will bring the joy of being crowned.
