Jaleesa Pigot crowned as Miss Tropical Beauties Suriname 2016

At the conclusion of the magnificent finale of Miss Tropical Beauties Suriname 2016 held on July 9’ 2016, Jaleesa Pigot was crowned as the winner. Jaleesa succeeds Miss Tropical Beauties Suriname 2015 Nicole Tsai A Woen, and will now represent Suriname at the Miss Grand International 2016 pageant.

This year there were a total of 12 contestants who competed for the coveted title of Miss Tropical Beauties Suriname 2016. The beauties hailing from different parts of Suriname went through a series of events and competitions to make it to the finals. The finale of the pageant was a great success, with the finalists walking the ramp in their evening gowns and swimsuits.

At the same event, Daryola Brandon was adjudged first runner-up, Natalie Sahit was titled second runner-up, Chagnaz Frankel was adjudged third runner-up and Wendy He was crowned fourth runner-up. 
The central focus of the pageant this year was to carry social projects, majorly targeting children. Money was also raised during the event, for the social projects that the Organisation is aiming for this year.
