Miss Universe 2016 is heating up and in just one week one of the delegates will be crowned as the winner. Miss Universe 2015 second runner-up Olivia Jordan is in Manila along with Miss Universe 2014 first runner-up Nia Sanchez. The duo arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport past 4 am.
Both of them took to instagram to express their happiness of being in the Philippines to be a part of the Miss Universe 2016 fiinale to be held at the Mall of Asia Arena on January 30.

"Hello Manila! Just arrived and ready to explore with Olivia! I can't believe we are here to watch Miss Universe," Sanchez wrote. Sanchez said during the interview that she had always wanted to come to the Philippines for so long as she used to work with a lot of Filipinos in Hong Kong. The beauty added that she would love to explore the country and visit various tourist destinations. “I would love to go to Boracay. I heard the beaches are so beautiful here,” she said.
Jordan on the other had expressed her excitement to be back in Philippines and meet her close friend, Pia Wurtzbach. Jordan, who previously visited the Philippines during the Bb Pilipinas 2016 finals, said, "Twice the #MissUSA love coming your way #Philippines”. She further added, “We will be rooting for (Miss Universe USA) Deshauna (Barber) and (Miss Universe Philippines) Maxine (Medina) because I helped picked her. She better bring it. I know she will.”
The former Miss USA beauties also shared their other favourites for the title. “Just from what I’ve seen on Instagram, I think Brazil is stunning, Malaysia, Australia,” said Jordan.
“Also, I love Mexico and Panama and Venezuela. All these girls are bringing it. I feel like there’s a solid top 15 that could easily win. They are all strong and beautiful and well-spoken. We’ll know more after prelims because then you can see who has stage presence,” said Sanchez.
On their arrival, the girls were surprised to be greeted with a Press Conference. Olivia Jordan took to her Twitter account to share the video of her Press Con and wrote...
“Stepped off the plane at 4 AM and into an impromptu airport press conference! Luckily our excitement to be here...”
Nia Sanchez shared an Instagram video of her and Olivia enjoying the view of Manila from their hotel window. Sanchez wrote...
