At the finals pageant night of Miss Uganda 2014 pageant held on October 25’ 2014 at the Speke Resort Munyonyo in Kampala, Leah Kalanguka from Lganga has been crowned as Miss Uganda 2014 by her predecessor Stellah Nantumbwe, Miss Uganda 2013.
Leah, 23 years of age, defeated nineteen other contestants to clinch the coveted title. She will now represent Uganda at Miss World 2014 pageant to be held in London, England on December 14' 2014.
The theme of the pageant was "Making and promoting agriculture entrepreneurship attractive to young women in Uganda". The pageant's main focus was mainly based on agriculture. The agricultural theme to the pageant gave it a representation of the African values according to the organizers.
