We have finally reached the important day of Miss Universe 2016, and in just few hours one of the 86 beauties will be crowned as the winner. As you guys know that Miss Universe 1994 Sushmita Sen, who was crowned in the Philippines, is one of the judges for the finale. It’s been 23 years since the beauty became Miss Universe and it seems that Sushmita Sen has only grown more beautiful, sophisticated and regal.
The beauty queen shared a video this morning from the rehearsals and in the video, the former Miss Universe is seen walking on the stage in the same way she did, back in 1994. These were Sushmita’s words in the video... "This is it. The stage that changed my life 23 years ago. Where India made history. After two decades, Sushmita Sen has returned to the Philippines as a judge for the 65th Misss Unniverse pageant. The beauty queen excitedly told her fans that coming back to Manila is like coming home. Recently, Sushmita said that Pia Wurtzbach reminds her of herself. She also said that she is also very excited to meet the reigning queen.
"She reminded me of me. She was real, very well-spoken and she had a heart," the former beauty queen said in an interview on 24 Oras. Sushmita Sen was considered a dark horse in the Miss Universe 1994 as she was not one of the favourites in the contest. She was crowned at the Philippine International Convention Center by Miss Universe 1993 Dayanara Torres.
