The 65th edition of Miss Universe pageant has reached its final destination, and one of the 86 beauties will be crowned as the winner tomorrow. There are few who have been running favourites, and speculations are high on few who could be the winner in the upcoming Miss Universe pageant. However, all of that might just fade away at the coronation, says Miss Universe 1994 Sushmita Sen.

Sushmita Sen was the first Indian to win the crown. She won the crown in Philippines, and now the beauty queen is back to Philippines. This time she is in town to judge the finale of Miss Universe 2016. "I'm looking forward life full circle from being a participant, to a winner, and now a judge," said Sushmita Sen in an interview with Jessica Soho.

Sushmita was asked to reveal her favourite for the title this year. The beauty queen said that she has seen all the candidates on social media and has reviewed their biography on the Miss Universe site. But, she also added that she cannot say about one favourite contender for the title. "But to be honest with you, ultimately that stage. That night, that's it. Everything else comes to that one moment, which is the actual winning moment at the Miss Universe stage," Sushmita answered.

"Nothing else matters, no speculation matters. I'm living proof of that. Never was a hard favourite. But hey, an underdog can win," she added. The former Miss Universe recalled her win at the 1994 pageant and said, "Every single Filipino for that entire generation has made me feel like there was Gloria Diaz, Margarita Moran, Sushmita Sen, and then Pia (Wurtzbach). I feel like I won Miss Universe somehow that night from both countries."

"That's how you have made me feel in the Philippines. How does that feel to be loved that much? Oh, you have to be me to live it. You would have to be Sushmita Sen to be able to experience what it's meant to me. Tagalog or not Hindi or not, love has no language. And I have felt every moment of it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Philippines for that," she added.

During the interview with Jessica Soho, Sushmita recalled her answer to the question "What is the essence of being a woman." But the most beautiful moment was when Sushmita was introduced to a bunch of girls who were born in the year 1994 and were named after her. Watch the video here...
