Miss Universe 2014, has been one such memorable and historic voyage. It has been a journey that is framed in the album of memories forever. The 63rd edition of Miss Universe has been nothing less than a full-fledged, high budget dramatic movie. This year, the Miss Universe has been a string of surprises, fun, and drama. Miss Universe 2014 has given a lot to the gossip mongers, to talk about. Beside all that happened, the Miss Universe 2014, coming to an end will leave a void among us for a while. On January 6, 2015, the Contestants from all around the world took off from their respective lands to their destination, Florida. After the contestants reached their destination, the ladies got their very first photoshoot done in their respective gowns. Next, on January 8 2015, The Rusty Pelican Restaurant in union with Miss Universe Organization held an event inviting people of Miami to come and experience “A Night with Miss Universe”, benefiting Best Buddies International, as a part of a Charity Dinner.
The Miss Universe 2014 journey has been a fun filled experience for the 88 beautiful delegates. The ladies, during their stay, immersed themselves to the pleasure of salsa dancing, enjoyed the gluttony of delicious dinner events at Layali Miami, and experienced the joy of fan following during the National parade. The beauties even participated in various competitions including- Golf outing, Badia Spice Cook off and Miami dance heat challenge.
Apart from just rehearsing, the contestants also had a few bash flashes. On January 16, 2015, 30 gorgeous contestants along with the reigning Miss Universe, Gabriela Isler, gambled their luck in the $50K Blackjack Tournament held at the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek. The beautiful ladies, held the glorious occasion, with lots of gambling and their vivacious charm.

In between all the fun and frolic moments, there were some moments of controversies and disputes. Surpassing all these chapters, the contestants reached their first passage of the last page, of their book of destiny- "The Preliminary Competition"- on January 21, 2015. Tonight, the world will witness the new crown wearer as the reigning Miss Universe, Gabriela Isler of Venezuela, will crown her successor.
The finals of Miss Universe 2014 will see an exclusive musical performance by Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter, Gavin DeGraw. In addition, American singer-songwriter Nick Jonas and Prince Royce will also unveil their performances during the Big Gala Night.
