The Pinay beauty queen, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach is beaming with joy as she is completing her fifth month as the “confidently beautiful woman in the universe”. She rejoices the unforgettable day of her life when she walked the prestigious stage of Miss Universe 2015 donning an iconic royal blue evening gown.

The Filipino looks back on her voyage, and recalls the biggest responsibilities that she now carries on her shoulders.

She took her official Instagram handle to express her happiness and how proud she is to be a Filipino. She posted her picture clad in a royal blue gown (the one she wore during the finale of Miss Universe 2015) as Throwback Thursday.

Her post reads - “I will never forget how proud I was to be wearing my country's name and walking on that stage in front of millions, and also seeing so many Philippine flags around me in the theater,”.

We all know how beautifully she carried herself and represented the Philippines, and how well she showcased her dedication and passion. She has represented each aspect of the world; be it ethnicity, gender, and other quality that creates dissections and inequity all over the world.

She is not only a beauty queen, she truly is an ally for everyone.

Pia further stated, “Now that I am Miss Universe, I represent you. Wherever you may come from. Whatever your belief is. I am your ally. I am proud to be a Filipino, I am proud to be Asian, I am proud to be a woman, and I am proud of my LGBT friends.”

The half-Filipino-German beauty posted a beautiful statement as she celebrated the National Asian and Pacific Islander HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.

“Slowly but surely, we will be not classified as 'others' anymore. I promise to be the voice of people of color. It's my great honor and responsibility,” the beauty queen concluded.
