The much awaited Miss Universe 2016 pageant is slated to be held on 30th January 2017, and with the crowning of the new queen, Queen P will have to relinquish her crown and duties. Pia Wurtzbach has had a glorious year full of new experience, visits, travelling and events. It’s going to be difficult for many as Pia’s charm was spread among all.

Many would also wonder what will be Pia’s next step after Miss Universe, and Pia shares what it is going to be. Pia is hoping to give her first love a try. Now, before you get any hints, in the cover story of the latest issue of Preview, Pia said she wants to return to acting. Before joining beauty pageants, Pia was a talent of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic.

Talking about her future plans, Pia said, “I think I’m going back to acting. I’ve been doing it since I was a kid and it feels natural to me. As a child, I had a love for acting and being in front of the camera, so being in that moment again will bring back great memories.”

The beauty queen also said that she is even going to give a try to New York Film Academy. “I’m lucky enough to be granted that scholarship that I can take up anytime,” she said. She was even asked that she once mentioned she wanted to be a bond girl, to which Pia replied, “I’m not picky, but I’m still keeping my fingers crossed. If I’m offered a role as lead, why not? Contravida? Even better.”

 “I’ve done everything to the best of my ability to make my reign worthwhile – to the public eye and for myself. I have absolutely no regrets. One day I’ll be able to share my Miss Universe story more in depth, but what I can say now is this: it was everything I envisioned it to be and more.” Pia said looking back at her reign.
