After the announcement of the host and speculations about the co-hosts for the finale, here is an update on the backstage host for the night.

As per reports, plus sized model Ashley Graham has been selected as the backstage host for the Miss Universe 2016 pageant. The announcement about Ashley covering the backstage updates of MU 2016 was made on the official social media accounts of Miss Universe.

Ashley Graham also shared her excitement of hosting the pageant on her Instagram post and wrote...

 “Had a blast visiting the Steve Harvey show and can’t wait to host Miss Universe with him in January!”

Ashley has modeled for various brands like Lane Bryant, wherein she was featured in two of its campaigns - #ImNoAngel and #PlusIsEqual. Elle, Vogue, Glamour, and Harper's Bazaar are few magazines whose covers Ashley has donned.

The glamorous looking model is also a body positive activist, who shares inspiring and motivating messages to women about being empowered over their body image and self-confidence. She is currently part of the judging panel in the new America's Next Top Model.
