The newly crowned Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere has been occupied with her media tour, as seen on the social media pages of the Miss Universe Organisation. Iris too has been updating her fans about all the details of her travel and visits. She has been filling her instagram posts with her time to time update.

On Monday, the beauty queen made her first appearance on and American TV set as Miss Universe 2016 on the show "Live with Kelly". After Live with Kelly, the French beauty was up for “Good Morning America.” The interviews happened just after she arrived in New York from Manila. The 24 year old beauty queen was enthusiastic throughout her TV appearance on the hit ABC program. “It’s like my heart is jumping out of my chest!” she said. Iris also told the GMA host that she “feels very honoured.” While talking to GMA, Iris also addressed her gay rumours which have been going around from quite a long time now.

Iris told GMA news, "Camille is my best friend and I love my boyfriend Matthieu.” "I really love her, but I am not with her. She is not my girlfriend," she added. Iris’ boyfriend Matthieu Declercq, who is also a dentist, was seen attending the finals of Miss Universe 2016.

In another interview with Arthur Kade for Behind the Velvet Rope, Mittenaere talked about Miss Unvierse 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and said, “Pia is very sweet and she gave me a lot of advice.” Mittenaere further added that Pia shared lots of valuable tips with her, but one of them was really funny. “The most funny is ‘keep your phone in your bag,’” Mittenaere revealed, drawing a laugh from Kade. She further explained, “During her reign, a lot of people wanted to open her phone. And they blocked the phone when they put a lot of number on it that was wrong.”
