It’s January 2017 and all you will hear will be Miss Universe 2016 – first of all well, it’s the Miss Universe pageant, secondly because it’s happening in Philippines, and finally because one of the most popular Miss Universe winners, Pia Wurtzbach, will pass on her crown to her successor. While there are still three weeks left for the gala finale, the contestants have started their journey to the Philippines.
While we already updated you about Miss US Virgin Islands, Miss Guyana and Miss Cayman Islands departing for the pageant, there are now more delegates who are travelling to compete for the coveted title. Miss British Virgin Islands Erika Creque is on her way to the Philippines. Reports suggest that unlike other contestants, Erika will be travelling with 1 large cabin and 2 small suitcases for a month long pageant. Erika is excited to represent her country on an international platform and promised she will be represent her country with pride.

Next contestant to be travelling to Philippines is Miss Universe Canada Siera Bearchell. Siera looked excited to be finally travelling for the finals. One of the most popular contestants of Miss Universe 2016, Deshauna Barber has also departed to finally start her journey. Deshauna posed for the shutterbugs with her suitcases and donned a casual look for her journey.
Estefania Bernal Miss Universe Argentina looked every bit of glamorous as she embarked upon her journey to Miss Universe clad in a gorgeous blue dress.

Another delegate who has departed from her country to compete at the Miss Universe 2016 finals is Miss Universe Mexico Kristal Silva. Kristal is one of the strongest bets this year at the pageant.
