A Belgian model and beauty pageant title holder Stephanie Geldhof, who was also adjudged as first runner up at Miss Belgium 2016, will now represent Belgium at Miss Universe 2016. Miss Belgium 2016 pageant was held on 9th January 2016 and Lenty Frans was crowned as the winner. She will represent Belgium at Miss World 2016.

Miss Universe Belgium 2015 Annelies Toros crowned Stephanie as her successor on October 3, 2016. Annelis Toros represented Belgium at Miss Universe 2015 held at Las Vegas, Nevada on 20' December 2015.
The reigning Queen, Pia Wurtzbach is all excited to pass the crown. “I will make sure, before I pass on my crown, I will go back to Cagayan de Oro and maybe do a quick pass by to Iligan City,” she said.
Belgium has never won Miss World or Miss Universe crown. The last time Belgium marked a highest placement at Miss Universe was in the year 1992 when Anke Vandermeersch was one of the Top 6 contestants at the same.
