Miss Universe 2016 is walking towards its road to the finale and in about two weeks, the reigning queen PIa Wurtzbach will pass on her crown to her successor. 30th January 2017 is the final day of Miss Universe 2016, and we couldn’t wait to see the new winner.
One contestant who is quite visibly active in the pageant is Miss Universe Colombia 2016 Andrea Tovar. Andrea recently drew criticism over her video which showed her making fun of the hotel food offered to her. She attracted quite a lot of disapproval from the Filipinos. But, there is this one video that went viral where Andrea said that she loves the Philippines. Andrea looks confident and has a very strong personality which makes her a strong bet for the pageant.

What is also showing a positive signal for this beauty is the fact that not just her countrymen but also Pinoy pageant fans are supporting her. Reacting to the warm welcome she and the other candidates received, she said: "The culture is so similar. I feel so at home here."
Last year Steve Harvey’s gaffe over the announcement of the winner created an unseen wall between Colombia and the Philippines. But Andrea looks undeterred by any of the past things and the beauty is seen very lovingly and gracefully moving towards the finale. She just wants to win the title, because as already said, it has been her dream. Talking about Harvey’s Gaffe, Andrea said, "It was an error. I understand it was a difficult situation to accept. Us Colombians, we were sad. But it was a mistake. Now it is different situation we are in."
In fact, right after her arrival to Manila, Andrea took a selfie with Medina, showing a positive beginning. Praising the country, Andrea said, "I love the Philippines. It's a big opportunity to be here in this amazing country. I am so excited for the pageant! And I want to know your culture, including your food."

The 65th Miss Universe coronation will take place on January 30, 2017 Monday 8 a.m. (Manila time). Who do you think will win the title this year?
