Reigning Miss Universe France, Flora Coquerel is having fun in Vietnam. On May 24’ 2016, the beauty attended the Miss Vietnam 2016 press conference held at the White Palace Convention Center in HCMC (Ho Chi Minh City).
During the Miss Vietnam 2016 press conference, Flora announced that the southern final round of the Miss Vietnam 2016 contest will be held on August 27’ 2016.
Flora Coquerel reached HCMC on May 24’ 2016 morning and has a busy schedule until May 27’ 2016. At the airport, model Hoang Thuy and actress Ky Duyen welcomed Flora Coquerel to Vietnam.
The beauty queen was seen clad in an " áo dài" (The áo dài is a Vietnamese national costume, now more commonly worn by women. In its current form, it is a tight-fitting silk tunic worn over pants) during her visit to one of the Vietnam’s tourist places.

After attending the press conference, Coquerel is all set to parade latest haute couture by local popular designer Hoang Hai in one of the upcoming fashion events of Vietnam.
The 22-year-old beauty queen said that she felt honored to attend one of the first activities of the beauty contest. Coquerel was pretty excited to announce the finale date of the pageant.

Flora Coquerel, the 85th Miss France title holder, was also adjudged the third runner-up at the Miss Universe 2015 contest held last December in Las Vegas, wherein Filipino Actress and Miss Universe Philippines 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach was crowned as Miss Universe 2015.
For the first time in 14 years, the Miss Vietnam pageant will take place in HCMC, with the coronation night scheduled for August 27’ 2016. The winner will receive a cash prize of VND500 million, while first and second runner-ups will get VND300 million and VND200 million.
